Manufacturing is an intensive and expensive process that puts a great strain on the world’s resources, including labor, and power.
That is why we designed our process to be as efficient as possible while reducing reliance on non-renewable assets.
WATERBeira recycles 10,000 liters of water per day. Our buildings are designed to collect and use rainwater in their systems. |
BUILDINGOur factory buildings are LEED certified – |
POWERWe commissioned bio-mass and solar power plants to supply 53% of our energy needs from timber off-cuts and the sun. Our factories feature a wide array of solar panels that power some of our infrastructure. |
MATERIALSWe recycle 300 metric tons of plastic waste monthly and use it for our plastic products. We offer high quality wood from local sources. We adhere to REACH regulations in every step of production and use recycled or renewable packaging for shipping purposes. |
Our plastic back requirements are largely met through recycled polypropylene flakes. We use recycled plastics at our plastic block manufacturing facility. This process ensures that post-consumer plastics are put to new uses in foam or co-injected brush blocks.
Our synthetic filament requirements are met through PET bottles obtained from municipal garbage dump yards. These bottles are then washed at our state-of-the-art washing plants and the fiber is extruded using modern European technology.
